NUGENIA Association - Secretariat Support

The Nuclear Generation II & III Alliance (NUGENIA) is dedicated to the research and development of nuclear fission technologies, with a focus on Gen II & III nuclear plants. It provides scientific and technical basis to the community by initiating and supporting international R&D projects and programmes.

It was established under the form of the international association in 2014 as a pillar of the Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology platform (SNETP). The Association gathered more than 100 members internationally. 

In 2019 the NUGENIA Association was converted formally to SNETP Association. The technical scope of NUGENIA community is maintained as a key pillar of the SNETP.  

LGI supported the creation of the NUGENIA Association and was actively involved in the establishment of its governance and running the operational secretariat for 5 years. This included:

• Administrative and financial management of the association
• Animation of the wide network of members and stakeholders
• Execution of the Communication strategy  
• Support of 8 technical areas 
• Creation of the Open Innovation Platform
• Organisation of the annual Forum and other related events
