LEAP-RE

Long Term Joint EU-AU Research and Innovation Partnership on Renewable Energy

LEAP-RE seeks to create a long-term partnership of African and European stakeholders in the field of renewable energy with the aim to share knowledge and methods to effectively contribute to fighting climate change while enabling wider access to clean energy.

 

The LEAP-RE community supports through the EU, national and other alternative funding resources during 5 years various renewable energy related collaborative research and innovation projects.

 

LEAP-RE community is built on the expertise of more than 80 organisations on both continents and from diverse sectors : government, research and academia, private sector and civil society.

 

LEAP-RE is considered as the largest cross-continental project in terms of number of partners within European Horizon 2020 Programme.
